Kigali Golf club eyes a hat trick over Entebbe

KIGALI Golf Club is in Uganda ready to register a win in the return leg of the annual friendly challenge competition due this morning at the par 71 Entebbe golf course.

The 16-man team, led by Kigali Golf Club president Dr. Richard Gakuba, departed for Entebbe on Friday ahead of the tournament.

While Entebbe club will be seeking for revenge after losing the first leg in Kigali early this year, the visitors will be gunning for a hat trick of wins.

Kigali club hosted the first edition in 2012 which they won, then in 2013 Entebbe Club levelled the series, but in February, Kigali took a 2-1 lead.

The Kigali Golf Club team is made up of Dr. Gakuba (KGC president), Anthony Olwit (KGC captain), Dr. Arthur Barigye (KGC secretary), Claire Kayitesi (KGC Lady captain), Jenny Linda and Dr Davis Kashaka.

Others are; Innocent Rutamu, Philip Jacobs, Eugene Murenjeka, John Thairu, Kennedy Murichu, Allan Gichuhi, Readon Sakwa, Azzy Twagira, Mark Mugarura and Steven Katwiremu.
