La JeunesseFootball Club will compete in the next season’s second division league after a year out due to financial constraints. The second division league will kick off on January 15, 2015.

The Nyamirambo-based youthful side dropped out of the league in the 2013/14 season due to lack of enough funds to keep them in business after their main sponsor Tinco, a South African mining company opted to withdraw their monthly Rwf6 million sponsorship.

The 2014/15 second division league will have 20 teams, according to the Rwanda Football Federation.

The teams which have registered to compete for the second division include; Esperance, AS Muhanga, Sec Academy, Bugesera, Unity, Vision J.N, Interforce, Sorwathe, Intare, Kirehe, Rwamagana City, Aspor,  Akagera, Gasabo United, United Stars, Etoile de LTest, UNR, La Jeunesse, Pépinières FC and Vision FC.

AS Muhanga and Esperance were relegated from the Turbo King National Football League last season and their places were taken by Isonga FC and Sunrise FC, who were promoted to first division.
