APR Handball ClubCoach Vianney Munyangondo has called upon his players to be consistent as they bid to finish the league in a respectable position.

Munyangondo was reacting after his team’s 34-23 win against Rambura on Saturday at Kimisagara youth sports center. He said, "I need my players to stay focused as we play all our remaining matches.”

Despite the win, APR remained in fourth position on the table with 26 points with four matches remaining to end the season.

In the other game Groupe Scolaire St Alloys, who comfortably won 25-0 against sixth-placed Nyakabanda with 20 points are fifth place with 21 points.

Police top the nine-team table standing with 36 points with three matches to go, followed by the reigning champions Gicumbi on 33 points albeit with five games still to play, ES Kigoma is on third position with 27 points.
