Why let Ruhurura flood our village?

I am a resident of Kacyiru, Kibaza zone in Kabagari, but I have been disheartened by the way some one around the ministries just let the sewerage to floor our village without any concern.

Some time back, the drainage channel that the sewerage is flooding used to have constant running water and one would be made to believe that there is a stream somewhere uphill.

Residents who are doing some construction work and children would tap that water which appeared clean; little did they know that it was waste water from the ministries.

Of recent the channel has been flooded by real human waste (faeces) which has consistently now for three days, freely meandering in the village below the ministries.

I wonder what the intention was, to let human waste flood a residential place without any authority bothered.

Some time back the City council was all in arms against business buildings that do not have sewers or own recycling plants but do government institutions like ministries have them?

If so why would we have to endure flowing faeces in residential places?

These wastes are let to flow any how because people do not have a way of keeping them or discarding them off.

I would suggest that the city council takes it upon itself to have public sewers and emptier tanks and have a central recycling plant for all human wastes from Kigali city.

This will save us from Ruhururas like those at Muhima, Kimironko prison, Kigali central prison and now Ministries flooding with human wastes into residential places.
