Rwandan Janvier Hadi improved one place to 105th out of 113 participants on stage two of the ongoing Tour of Alberta on Thursday.

Stage two of the six-day ran from Innisfail to Red Deer to cover a distance of 288.29km. The average time/rider was 6.26'23" while the average speed was 45.390 km/h.

Hadi, 23, who is riding for Garneau-Quebecor, a Canadian professional cycling team alongside other five elite cyclists, becomes the first Rwandan rider to compete in this competition that was inaugurated last year.

In General classification, Dutch-born Tom Dumoulin, who wonTuesday’s Time trail, Wednesday’s stage one and stage two on Thursday, continues to keep the yellow jersey ahead of Ruben Zepuntke of Germany and Romanian Serghei Tvetcov.
