APR look to extend lead in volleyball league

The National Volleyball League continues this weekend with table leaders APR looking to maintain their grip on top spot. Sammy Mulige's APR will host INATEK and Lycee de Nyanza at NPC Gymnasium today in the last two second round games before the playoffs start next weekend.

The National Volleyball League continues this weekend with table leaders APR looking to maintain their grip on top spot.

Sammy Mulige’s APR will host INATEK and Lycee de Nyanza at NPC Gymnasium today in the last two second round games before the playoffs start next weekend.

If APR wins the two games, they will be leading the table with 33 points, three points ahead of rivals Rayon Sports, who have already completed their second round games.

In other games scheduled for today; College Christ Roi will be up against VC before KVC meet GSOB in Huye. Umubano Blue Tigers will face Ruhumo High School and Kirehe, while Rusumo High School will meet Kirehe at club Rafiki court in Nyamirambo.

On Sunday, Rusumo High School will host College Christ Roi and KVC.In the women category, APR will meet IPRC-Kigali and Lycee de Nyanza, while IPRC-Kigali will face Lycee de Nyanza at NPC Gymnasium.
