Munyaneza, the Exert Engineering Group managing director made the assurance to Minister of Sports and Culture Joseph Habineza on Wednesday while visiting the stadium as part of his job of reviewing the different projects under the ministry.
Munyaneza said: "According to the contract, construction works have reached 94.5%. We are on the right track to finish the task within the next two months.”
"Things have not been going on as we expected because of different constraints related to finances and poor management from the previous engineers whose design concept failed to meet the set expectations,” added Munyaneza.

Though phase two of the construction will be ready in two months’ time, more work will continue to be done on other requirements in phase three to ensure the 12,000 seater stadium is ready for use before the end of this year.
In the next two months, work will be done on various sections including the VIP tribune, fans tribune, media area and parking among others.
The stadium is equipped with Desso artificial turf.
Much effort is being put on Huye stadium after the Ministry of Sports and Culture put on hold plans to build a modern 40,000-seater stadium in Gahanga.
