Rwanda’s business environment and warmth toward investors has attracted a new radio station, Kiss FM.

The new Kimihurura-based radio station, launched yesterday, targets a listenership of young people and will feature content for young people.

Speaking to The New Times, John Wilkins, the stations managing director, said audience research proved that listeners were looking for more variety in the choice of stations. Gerald Mpyisi, the station’s director, said they are confident of success.

Kiss FM joins an already crowded market with close to 30 radio stations countrywide. It can be heard on 102.3 in Kigali.
