Six schools qualify for mini cricket league finals

Six teams, including two primary schools and four secondary schools have reached the finals of the inaugural Kigali Mini Cricket League, which will be played on September 26 at Kicukiro oval.

Six teams, including two primary schools and four secondary schools have reached the finals of the inaugural Kigali Mini Cricket League, which will be played on September 26 at Kicukiro oval.

Groupe Scolaire Kicukiro and St. Esprit will meet on final of the primary schools category and Groupe Scolaire Ndera will play against Ecole Secondary De Tourism & Hotelrely in the senior boys’ final.

While in the senior girls’ competition, the battle for the title will be between Ecole Secondary De Tourism & Hotelrely and Groupe Scolaire Ndera Secondary School.

A total of 10 schools, both primary and secondary schools took part in the one-day preliminary tournament held on Saturday at the Excella School grounds in Kigali.

The primary schools include Excella School, Groupe Scolaire Ndera Primary School, Kicukiro Primary School, St Joseph Primary School and St Esprit Primary.

Secondary schools that participated in this tournament were;  FAWE Girls School, Excella Secondary School, Groupe Scholaire Ndera  Secondary School, Kicukiro Secondary School and Ecole Secondary de Tourism & Hotelrely.
