Stephen Keshi has named his 23-man squad for their two Group A matches against Congo Brazzaville and South Africa in the 2015 Afcon qualifiers.

Keshi will return as Nigeria coach for next month’s Nations Cup qualifiers, only days after appearing to rule himself out of the job.

It is still unclear who the Super Eagles are going to face between Rwanda and Congo Brazzaville, but the Nigerians are preparing their team ahead of the September 6 game.

As things stand, according to the organising committee for the 2015 African Cup of Nations-Morocco, the title-holder, Nigeria are scheduled to face Congo after Rwanda was disqualified for allegedly fielding an ineligible player— Etakiama Agiti Tady/Daddy Birori, who has Rwandan and DR Congo nationalities. 

Congo was subsequently consigned to Group A as replacement for Rwanda, joining Nigeria, South Africa and Sudan for the final phase of the qualifiers.

However, Rwanda filed at appeal, which will be heard today at the Caf headquarters in Cairo. Rwandan officials are already in the Egyptian capital to make their case.

 The three-man delegation includes; Ferwafa president Vincent Nzamwita, secretary general Olivier Mulindahabi and legal affairs chairman Emmanuel Ndagijimana.
