Rwandan youngster Nelson Murangwa is set for a three-month trial period with Japanese Volleyball league side Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler.

The 21 year-old Murangwa is due to leave the country next Monday. He has been a regular for the U-21 national team and participated in U-21 world championships in Ankara, Turkey, last September.

The youthful player right-attacker joined Rayon Sports Volleyball Club last year from Group Scolaire de Butare.

"I will travel on Monday for Japan and I will be going for trials; if I pass the test, I will negotiate my contract and look into my studies,” he said on Monday.

He added: "I will do all I can to secure a professional contract, I am going there to give my best performance, my dream is to play professional volleyball.”

His going is a big blow for new club Rayon Sports, who are competing for the league title with rivals APR. Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler represented Japan at the 2014 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championships.
