RwandAir changing country’s aviation industry through enhanced aviation skills

RwandAir is the national carrier of Rwanda, with its main operating base at Kigali International Airport. It started its operations in the country on 1st December 2002 under the brand name Rwanda Express; rebranded in June 2009 to RwandAir with a tagline “Fly our dream to the Heart of Africa”.

RwandAir is the national carrier of Rwanda, with its main operating base at Kigali International Airport. It started its operations in the country on 1st December 2002 under the brand name Rwanda Express; rebranded in June 2009 to RwandAir with a tagline "Fly our dream to the Heart of Africa”.

RwandAir mission is "To provide unsurpassed, safe and reliable services in air transportation, including strategically linking Rwanda with the outside world, while ensuring a fair return on investment.”

Passenger Air transportation is the core activity for Rwanda’s airline with a concession to carry out airport ground handling (ancillary activity) at Kigali International Airport, Kanombe.
