MINICOM ups drive to support Rwandan youth

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, MINICOM, still maintains its drive in supporting helpless Rwandan youth, by helping them create their own jobs. The aim of this programme is to train the youth from poor families, school dropouts and orphans, in vocational trade and also give them start-up kits to help them start practicing the trades in which they were trained.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, MINICOM, still maintains its drive in supporting helpless Rwandan youth, by helping them create their own jobs. The aim of this programme is to train the youth from poor families, school dropouts and orphans, in vocational trade and also give them start-up kits to help them start practicing the trades in which they were trained.

This year, 2014, more than 4,300 youths from 21 districts in all provinces of the country are expected to be given start up kits, after they have been trained in various vocational trades including carpentry, welding, mechanics, hairdressing and tailoring.
