Barely three months after joining Infinity Records, rapper Aisha Uwimana, aka Ciney, threw in the towel last week after the company reportedly failed to deliver on its promises.

Ciney had signed a three year recording deal with Infinity Records hoping it would boost her music career.

Speaking to The New Times, Ciney said: "there was a breach of contract by the company because they didn’t keep their end of the deal. I decided to quit because I can’t work with people that I don’t trust.”

Ciney has collaborated with various local musicians including Jay Polly, D-Pinc, Knowless, Paccy and Lil-P among. The singer is known for songs like Game of Love, Tuma Bavuga, Nkunda and Dogoni.
