How would you describe your dress sense?

Oh, God! I don’t know how to describe it.  The most important thing to me is to feel good. It’s not just about comfort; I have to feel happy about what I’m wearing.

I’m not the super feminine type though; I like casual clothes mostly, though I do wear extremely sexy outfits some days.

What’s your favourite clothing item?

I love tailored dresses. But I also love skinny jeans and will make up any excuse to wear them.   I can do whatever I want when wearing them and not worry about messing up my clothes.

Where do you shop for clothes?

I don’t have a specific place; it all depends on what I want or what I have seen and liked. But I like DeLuxe boutique (located at the back of Sawa Citi Supermarket in Kimihurura).

What do you consider when shopping clothes?

I consider colours that suit me, the brand and the price. But I also ask myself; do I have something similar? Do I look good in it? Is it comfortable? Is it casual or formal and how often will I wear it?

What is your favourite fashion accessory?

I love jewelry, watches and bags

What is your favourite clothing item on a guy?

Weirdly, I pay a lot of attention to socks, especially the colour. All my male friends know that I like criticising shabby looking socks or strange colours. Also, belts and shoes matter a lot. If a guy likes wearing suits, I look at how sharp it looks on him and if it fits right and how well the tie matches with the rest of the outfit.

What’s your favourite scent?

Wow. I keep changing scents but for now I love La Vie Est Belle by Lancôme, Boss Femme by Hugo Boss and J’adore by Christian Dior. However, I also like masculine scents like Calvin Klein’s The One.

What is the most expensive accessory in your wardrobe?

I once looked in my wardrobe but couldn’t find anything very expensive. But I have two Gucci handbags that I got from my sister that I treasure so much. I also have a watch that I got as a graduation gift from my parents. I would say those are the most expensive things I own.

Any fashion advice?

My advice is to accept who you are and go with it. This means, know who you are, what you like, what your assets are, and then pick things you are comfortable in. If you feel good about yourself and comfortable in your skin, you will look confident and if you look confident, you look beautiful. Remember that physical appearance is important. Also, learn to appreciate the beauty in others because it is by appreciating others that you discover the best in yourself.
