Rwanda Revenue Authority won this year’s NSSF-KAVC memorial tournament women title after defeating Uganda’s Vision Volleyball Club on Sunday at Lugogo indoor stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

The local women league and Genocide Memorial Tournament champions dominated the game, 3–0 (25-23, 25-15 and 25–22) to win the trophy and $500 cash prize. 

Meanwhile, Uganda’s Sky Volleyball Club beat the defending champions Inatek of Rwanda 3-1 to claim the men’s title. 

Inatek head coach Dominic Ntawangundi said his Ugandan opponents were  deserved winners after maximising home advantage.
