Rayon Sports coach Jean Francois Losciuto has admitted that he is not satisfied with his team’s performance at the ongoing Cecafa Kagame Cup.

The Belgian was speaking during a post-match interview after a 2-1 victory over Adama City FC of Ethiopia in a Group A game at Amahoro stadium on Sunday in Kigali.

"This was a must win for us, we deserved the victory. However, I’m not convinced yet by my team’s performance in the first two matches, I’m sure we can play far better than we have played so far,” Losciuto said.

Rayon drew the opening game 0-0 with Tanzanian champions of Azam FC at the same arena on Friday and return to action on Thursday against KMKM of Zanzibar at Kigali Regional Stadium.

Concerning the form of his Togolese new signing Sekle Zico Yao, he said: "The Zico that I’m watching here he is not the one I was expecting, neither the one I coached in Togo. He has a lot to prove to me, to Rayon Sports and to Rwanda’s football fans at large, but I am sure he will improve.”

The Blues will be hoping to maximise home advantage to win their second Cecafa championship, having bagged their first silverware way back in 1998 in Zanzibar.

They reached the semi-finals in last year’s edition in Darfur, Sudan.
