SC Kiyovu have signed goalkeeper Jean Paul Mutabazi from rivals Police FC ahead of the upcoming national football league scheduled to begin next month.

In another boost for coach Ali Bizimungu, fullback Gad Niyonshuti signed a new two-year contract, which will keep him at the Mumena-based side until 2016.

"These are good players whom I believe will help us achieve our mission next season. However, I need more players to beef up my team before we start pre-season training,” said Bizimungu.

Former Rayon Sports coach Bizimungu joined Kiyovu two weeks ago from AS Muhanga on a one-year contract, until August 2015. He replaced Gilbert ‘Yaoundé’ Kanyankore, who resigned towards the end of last season to rejoin Vital’O of Burundi.
