Bank of Kigali clients in Muhanga will now access services with ease following the opening of a modern office in the area on Friday.

James Gatera, the Bank of Kigali chief executive officer, said the Rwf2 billion structure will enable customers to get services in a more spacious banking hall. He added that the bank will also introduce new products at the branch, including mobile banking and village outreaches.

Bank of Kigali has about 70 branches across the country.

While commissioning the ultra-modern building, Alphonse Munyantwali, the governor of the Southern Province, said it will ease transactions for investors and traders in the district.

Munyantwali added that people who have loan guarantees from Business Development Fund (BDF) would also be able to get services at the institution.

"The bank will also facilitate activities of the Umurenge Saccos in the area,” he said.
