The highly anticipated Beautiful People Party is back and takes place this Friday at The Manor Hotel in Nyarutarama. Beautiful People Party is quite popular in neighbouring East African countries like Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.

"Beautiful People Party showcases the most trending things in society. It could be fashion, talent, beverages, anything that is trending in East Africa. This year’s theme is ‘Stay Trendy”” explained Reno Kabachelor, the CEO Beautiful People Party.

Last year  the party didn’t take place because of financial constraints. "We didn’t manage to organise it here last year after two successful editions because of sponsorship challenges but since we now have Heineken as the official sponsor, we will be organising the party every year,” he added

Beautiful People Party was launched in Kigali in 2011 at The Manor Hotel, the next year the party was hosted by Lemigo Hotel. This year, it returns to The Manor Hotel.

Beautiful People Parties are held throughout East Africa every summer with the aim of bringing together people from across the region to celebrate achievements as well as embrace different cultures.

On Friday, at 10pm, they will announce a Happy hour that will see all drinks go for half price.

Kabachelor also revealed to The New Times that Beautiful People Party will also be launching in Burundi this year.

Entrance to the party that kicks off at 7pm is Rwf 5,000. DJ Lex from Uganda will be the chief entertainer.
