RWANDA VOLLEYBALL Federation has suspended INATEK’s head coach Dominic Ntawangundi over indiscipline.

The former U18 assistant coach was suspended for the whole season over failure to refund $450 (Rwf300, 000) he borrowed from the Zone V administration during a regional training course held in Sudan in June this year.

According to the General Secretary of Rwanda Volleyball Federation, Christian Hatumimana, the suspension applies to the remaining league games.

"We have suspended him until the end of this season. He will be allowed to continue his duties after refunding the above mentioned money,”

"We can’t tolerate poor behavior which has put our nation in shame. This suspension will help him to get back to his senses and realise that what he did was not professional,” added Hatumimana.

In his defence, Ntawangundi said he borrowed the money from the Zone V administration because the federation never gave him enough upkeep money during the regional training course.
