Saturday ended with a bang if Radio and Weasel’s concert at Stade Amahoro parking yard is any indication. Kigali’s very own Urban Boys gave the Ugandan duo a taste of how it’s done in Kigali with their vigorous performance.

Much to the excitement of the crowd, Urban Boyz threw money at the audience, sending them into a wild cheer and as they scrambled for the notes.

The event started at 9:00pm with performances by upcoming artistes M One, Social Mula, Allion, and Bulldog. When Urban Boyz hit the stage, they wasted no time getting people to jump and dance.

The trio stormed the stage at 10:30pm with performances of famous songs like Data Ninde, Kelele and Ancilla among others.

Radio and Weasel arrived at the stadium with Ugandan artiste Sizzaman of the ‘Angela’ fame and their new manager Chagga. Sizzaman performed two songs; Angela and Taxi Money before Good Lyfe hit the stage. Around 11:20pm, Radio and Weasel went on stage and were received by an over excited crowd. People stood up to get as close to the podium as possible to get a better view of the artistes.

Weasel was dressed in red shorts, a black t-shirt and green and white sneakers while Radio killed it in a black leather sweater and trouser. They received a standing ovation as they came on stage singing one of their oldest hits, Nakudata.

"We are grateful to Rwandans. Thank you for loving our music and for your support. We love you all,” Radio said.

They performed Nakudata, Bread and Butter, I love You, Ntunga, Vuvuzuela and their latest hit Neela, among others.

The hugely attended show closed at midnight as the  crowd continuously kept screaming for more.
