The price of beer in Rwanda is going far beyond acceptable proportions. One therefore wonders what is happening in the world of authorities who are supposed to protect consumers.

The difference between the wholesaler’s price and the retailer is abnormally big and to my surprise government officials do not punish those involved in cheating consumers at that level.

It is well known that BRALIRWA for example, sells a bottle of Mitzig at 750 frws. It is therefore pure cheating for retailers like the ones in Rwamagana town and elsewhere to sell it at 1000frws. Please come to our rescue as it your duty.
