Fortran Bigirimana, a gospel singer, delivered an energetic performance during his maiden show in Canada. The France-based singer was the one that opened the concert that staged in Ottawa over the weekend and attracted thousands of gospel music lovers in the city.

Bigirimana was joined by Kaze Clark, Willy Uwizeye and Adrien Misigaro who performed some of his hit songs including ‘Ninjye Ubivuze’.

During the concert, Adrien thanked the Rwanda and Burundi diaspora community that attended his first performance in the city of Ottawa.

He was followed by his brother Gentil Misigaro, who is also one of the most loved gospel singers in Rwanda.

The concerts, which are part of Bigirimana’s tour dubbed 'Ntaco- Nzoba Kuko Birakunvira’, are organized by Re-Image Canada Inc.

Speaking to The New Times after the show, Bigirimana said that these concerts are a good opportunity for Rwandans residing in Canada to meet and connect.

Bigirimana has performed in different countries such as DR Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal, France, and many more.

He is known for hit songs such as 'Nimumfashe Dushime’, ‘Ni Amahoro’, ‘Ntaco Nzoba’, and ‘Je suis en paix’, among many others.
