Rwandans and tourists who were eagerly waiting for the annual gorilla naming ceremony, Kwita Izina were treated to a dose of fun and great music at the Volcanoes Celebration Party on Sunday and Monday.

It was a two day party sponsored by Heineken and featured famed disk-spinner Dj Africano who was the main entertainer at the event.  The Volcanoes celebration party was about people connecting to conserve nature as well as promote tourism and have fun.

"Several people flocked to Musanze a bit early for Kwita Izina; so we wanted to keep them entertained as the main event drew closer,” Africano explained. The annual Kwita Izina event was held on Tuesday.
