After making history as the first Rwandan musicians to feature on international music channel, Trace TV, Urban Boys have since landed a deal to record a song with Mafikizolo in South Africa.

This comes after their song, Tayali, with Nigerian artiste iyanya is currently heading to the top of music charts on Trace TV.  Urban Boys missed out on the current Primus Guma Guma season 4 competitions after they eliminated but have since made it up by targeting the international market and recording songs with some of Africa’s established artistes.

Urban Boys’ lead singer Safi Niyibikora confirmed the news about heading to South Africa to record the song.

"We are working on our travel documents. We still have some details to go over but we are confident that everything will go well,” said Safi.

Urban Boys is a celebrated local music group known in Songs like Simubure, Nkubita and Barahurura.
