God has given His children two important jobs to do for Him. One is to tell others the wonderful news that they can belong to God by believing in His son Jesus as their savior.

They, too, can have their sins forgiven and be children of the King of Kings. A boy named Benjamin had a classmate, Ashiqi, who sprained her leg, so Benjamin helped her walk. Later, when she was feeling better, she came to his house.
Benjamin and his sister were able to tell Ashiqi about Jesus. She believed them and became a child of God! Another important job is to encourage others in God’s kingdom.

We can help those who are new Christians understand more about God, pray for those who are sick, share a Bible verse with those who are tempted to do wrong and be a friend to those who are lonely.

A girl named Hope encouraged her Sunday school teacher by carrying wood to her house for winter. Hope’s teacher needed the wood for her wood stove but she did not have a husband or anyone to else to help her.

Hope honoured God by serving her teacher this way. As you honour God with your words and actions, obey Him constantly and live for Him, others will know that you are a child of the King.

But best of all you will be pleasing God, who loves you and is making a place ready for you in Heaven. We should always remember to thank God for what he has done for us.

We should always thank God for bringing children to His Kingdom and ask Him to help us to honour Him every day with our words, actions, obedience and by living for Him.
