Renowned Rwandan rapper and lyricist Kevin Sekamana, also known as Ish Kevin, has announced the release date of his highly anticipated debut album. He has also revealed the talented musicians who will be featured on the album.

"Blood, Sweat and Tears” (BST) is set to debut on September 21 across all major streaming platforms and will feature special appearances by prominent emerging musical talents from the continent, such as AV and Singah from Nigeria, among others.

Additional musicians featured are Igor Mabano, a Kina Music artiste and producer, Bobby Bangs who is considered one of the top performers of his time, Shemi, the talented artist behind the hit song 'Peace of Mind', Young Lunya, and Pastor P.

Expectations for this project are soaring after the success of his recently dropped Trappish mixtape, which featured Ycee.

"It’s the first time I’m going to release this kind of project and I can’t wait to share with my fans this masterpiece. It’s one for the books,” the youngster told The New Times after releasing the tracklist.

The album, he further said, will consist of different genres of music and was produced by what he calls the best producers in the game, local and international.

The album was produced by young Rwandan producers like Joeka$$h who owns Cash Records, Pro Zed, Bailey Pro, Rally, Shizzo, and Romeo, among others, all long-time collaborators of Ish Kevin. The whole project was mastered by Alexander Wright and will be distributed under Trappish Music.

About Ish Kevin

Ish Kevin has been cast as the architect of a new Rwandan cultural movement, a localised trap genre with global ambitions. The rapper, songwriter, digital influencer, and entrepreneur is among the most loved Rwandan musicians.

His single, "No Cap”, a sturdy banger acclaimed as one of the best drill songs of the year by GRM Daily, helped build his popularity, leading to his recent, stadium-sized, headlining concert.

His flow was recognised across the continent with a nomination in the Senegalese-based Galsen Hip Hop Awards.
