Rwanda to host Interpol’s 6th International Expert Meeting on Genocide, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity

All the World joins Rwanda to commemorate the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi for the twentieth time, the country will host international experts to discuss various mechanisms through which nations can stand against ideologies that easily lead to genocide.

 

Organized by International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) in partnership with Rwanda National Police (RNP), the meeting dubbed ‘6th International Expert Meeting on Genocide, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity’ will take place at Kigali Serena Hotel from April 14 to 16, 2014.

 

It will bring together experts from Interpol member countries, representatives of international organizations, civil society organizations, academia and the media. It will create an opportunity for the participants to share experience and knowledge so as to strengthen operational cooperation and partnership to work towards a crime free world.
