Rwanda will this month host the Airtel-Arsenal soccer clinics as part of Airtel Africa Championship search for the upcoming best players.

According to Airtel Rwanda, the event will be held at the end of April, while Tanzania will host the Manchester soccer clinics.

Players attending the clinics, will get the opportunity to be trained by coaches from two of the biggest football clubs in the world: Arsenal FC and Manchester United.

It is through these workshops that players get a chance to take their talent to the next level and to get a sense of how it feels to be a professional footballer.

The Airtel Rising Stars initiative, the biggest Under-17 grassroots tournament on the African continent, aims at identifying talent and nurturing upcoming footballers.

Already, Airtel in conjunction with Rwanda Football Federation has kicked off registration for teams that intend to participate in the second edition of Airtel Rising Stars football competition.

Last year saw the girls from Tanzania and the boys from Niger emerge as the Airtel Rising Stars champions at the continental level in Nigeria.
