This year Rwanda boasted of its first female pilot joining the national airline, flying its regional jets from Kigali to Nairobi, Johannesburg, Lagos, and Dar es Salaam. In sub- Saharan Africa, Rwanda has the third easiest economy for doing business, as ranked by the World Bank, and is one of few countries on track to meet most Millennium Development Goals.
