RWANDA national women’s football championship continues this afternoon with Pool B leaders The Winners taking on Les Lionnes at Red-Cross grounds in Gisozi.

Title hopefuls The Winners, who finished second last season, 15 points behind champions AS Kigali, are eager to halt the City of Kigali club’s dominance over the last five years. The Winners beat today’s opponents Les Lionnes 3-0 in the first round match.

In the other Pool A matches, Rambura face Freedom, while Musanze district-based ESIR battle with Don Bosco Gatenga.
