REFERENCE IS made to Sunny Ntayombya’s article, "Rwanda’s got talent, and don’t you forget it!” (The New Times, March 12).

It is an insightful article. For us to actually improve, we need to admit we have a problem here, be it in schools, workplaces and at home where we raise our children. 

Out of school, we are half baked, at least in my opinion, which can be good if you can rise up and fully bake yourself after all the universities shouldn’t fully bake us.

Again, we need to be taught how to be independent as well as responsible in our childhood. Some of you who went to local schools and made it, your backgrounds and personalities played the biggest role rather than schooling. But as far as the schooling is concerned, there is a lot to change.
