STRUGGLING Amagaju have off-loaded five players because of underperformance. The team’s head coach Godfrey Okoko has revealed.

The players released include; Jean de Dieu Hakizimana Nzoulou, Joachim Song Alanga Yenga, Fiston Badishuke, Pacifique Mwamutureba and Hakizimana Shema.

"It’s true we have released them and the club wishes them all the best wherever they wish to go,” said the former Mukura, La Jeunesse coach while confirming the players’ departure yesterday.

He added, "After looking at their performance, we made an evaluation of the squad and let go the players we thought don’t fit in the team.”

The Southern Province-based side is bottom of the 14-team Turbo King national football league table standing on ten points with seven games remaining.
