AS Kigali put Kiyovu loss aside ahead of Gasogi clash

AS Kigali will be hoping to bounce back from Kiyovu Sports defeat in grand style when they welcome Gasogi United at Kigali Pele Stadium in Saturday afternoon’s Primus National League encounter.

AS Kigali were beaten 2-0 by Kiyovu last weekend and they desperately need to return to winning ways against Gasogi who also want to maintain their winning run after registering their first three point after beating Muhazi 2-0.

The City of Kigali-sponsored club remains unbeaten in their past nine meetings with Gasogi since 2019, winning five times and drawing four.

It is going to be a great game as Gasogi aim to break the jinx.

Elsewhere, Bugesera FC will host Kiyovu Sports in Nyamata while Marines FC host Etincelles in the Rubavu derby at the Umuganda Stadium.

Menwhile, Musanze FC take on Sunrise FC at Ubworoherane Stadium with in-form striker Peter Agblevor looking to maintain his goal scoring form and continue to lead the charts.

In Ngoma, newly-promoted Etoile de l'Est will entertain defending champions APR FC. The last time the two teams met at the same venue was on December 22, 2021 where then Etoile striker Peter Agblevor netted a brace in a 2-2 draw.
