APR BBC looking for second successive win

The national basketball league continues this evening with title contenders APR taking on 30-Plus at Kimisagara youth sports center court at 6pm.

The former league champions started the new season with a 59-43 win against new league entrants Gisenyi basketball club last weekend.

Cliff Owuor’s side will be favourites to win their second consecutive game against 30-Plus BC, who were walloped 105-40 by the reigning champions, Espoir in the opening game.

In todays other game, Cercle Sportif de Kigali (CSK) will host newcomers IPRC Kigali at Circle Sportif de Kigali court in Rugunga.

The league will then continue on Saturday when last season’s first

runner-up, Kigali BBC host UR-Huye at Kimisagara court, starting at 10am.

This will be followed by the meeting between IPRC Kigali and Rusizi. At 3pm United Generation Basketball (UGB) will be up against UR-CE BBC at the same venue.
