All set for ‘Drip Ziwacu’

The Drip Ziwacu art festival which aims to unite various fashion brands is scheduled for September 3 at the Kigali Art Soul Incubation. The organisers, Lambert Twizeyimana, the owner of Ndishimye brand, and Francois Byiringiro, the owner of Kavu Store, who are not only involved in fashion but also have a passion for music, said the festival's objective is to offer brand owners a platform to showcase their creativity and foster meaningful connections with their target audience.

Organisers promise an impressive variety of artistic expressions, with guests being treated to captivating art installations, thought-provoking podcast discussions, exhilarating music performances, and stunning catwalks showcasing the latest fashion trends. Artistes B -Trey and Yampano are scheduled to perform.

In an interview with The New Times, Twizeyimana expressed that the festival aims to enhance the relationship between Rwandan brand owners and their clients, specifically within the fashion industry. "Through various forms of art and entertainment, 'Drip Ziwacu' aims to create a vibrant and immersive experience for attendees.”

"Brand owners will have the chance to interact directly with potential clients, leading to potential collaborations, sales, and further growth for their respective brands. The event seeks to create an environment that encourages dialogue, exchange of ideas, and the forging of long-lasting relationships,” he said.

By having art, fashion, music, and podcasts under one roof, 'Drip Ziwacu' will be an annual event that not only showcases the immense talent present in Rwanda but also fosters growth and collaboration within the creative industry.
