Chameleon to grace Mt Kenya beauty pageant

UGANDAN Afrobeat maestro Joseph Mayanja, better known by his stage name Dr. Jose Chameleon, will perform in Rwanda at Mr and Miss Mt Kenya University 2014.

UGANDAN Afrobeat maestro Joseph Mayanja, better known by his stage name Dr. Jose Chameleon, will perform in Rwanda at Mr and Miss Mt Kenya University 2014.

Purity Phuo, one of the organisers, said that Mr and Miss Mt Kenya beauty pageant will be held at the Expo Grounds, Gikondo on March 1. Chameleon will perform alongside Knowles and Riderman.

"We wanted something that will excite the students and that is why we called Chameleon because our students love him,” she said.

Currently, the finalists including 10 boys and 10 girls are in the boot camp.

During the boot camp they will be trained in modelling, self expression and culture among others.

The event will start at 6pm and entrance fee will be Rwf1500 for students, Rwf3000 for the general seats and Rwf5000 for VIP.
