Dear Editor,
Once again Rwanda pulled one of its unprecedented events, where it showcased its cultural splendor, my special appreciation goes to the ministry of culture and sports, plus all other parties, which saw it succeed.

Fespad was a platform, on which Rwanda and other countries demonstrated their cultural products, among which included dances, songs, art, dressing and other components that make up heritage.

People like me who had never dreamt of visiting places like China and Japan, got a chance of witnessing their dances!
Such events as Fespad do highlight our country in a positive way, such that instead of outside countries knowing us for the gruesome fate of the genocide, can now know us for something prudent and fulfilling.

I call upon all other responsible policy planers and makers of this country to come up with other events like Fespad, we are wholesomely behind them.

It also acts as a reinforcement of cultural preservation and promotion, because at the end of the day people know that they will be required to showcase and benefit from their cultural exhibitions.
