Lynette Uwera is a sales representative at MRD Outdoor World. She spoke to Society Magazine’s Sonia Tona about her fashion sense and what it’s like to stay fashionable in the marketing world.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

Simple and smart. With anything simple and chic I’m good to go provided it looks good on me and is really comfortable.

What’s your favourite clothing item?

My favorite clothing item would be trousers but somehow I prefer dresses.

There is a way dresses tend to pull it off. You can always look classy in adress and, you will always look a lady.

Where do you shop for clothes?

Honestly, there is no specific place I do my shopping. I will buy my clothes from anywhere provided I love what I see and it fits right. But if anyone asked me where to go shopping around Kigali, Amy’s boutique would be the best option.

What do you consider when buying  clothes?

When shopping I consider the colour first because I am dark so I need bright colours.  I also consider the fitting and the material of the clothes.

What is your favourite fashion accessory?

My favourite accessory is a watch.  I really like watches. Watches add a touch and sense of style to anyone.

What is your favourite clothing item on a guy?

Blazers, somewhere, somehow, the blazer will complete the gentleman look.

What’s your favourite scent?

Bvlgari Rose Essentielle

Any fashion advice?

Always wear what looks good on you and is comfortable - something that will make you feel you.
