Penny Musoni Burabyo is the Head of Membership Operations & Golden Circle Account Manager at the Private Sector Federation. She talks to Society Magazine’s Doreen Umutesi on how she is able to stay fashionable in the corporate world.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

I have not completely figured out my dress sense but for now I know I love being smart and elegant but comfortable at the same time.

What’s your favourite clothing item?

Dresses and elegant heels are my favourite clothing items.

Where do you shop for clothes?

Now, I have to confess, I’m a shopaholic. I will always have a reason to shop for clothes, shoes, jewelry and other fashionable accessories. I shop from Creations of Rose, Julia Shop…. but mostly, I do my shopping whenever I travel.

What do you consider when buying  clothes?

As a way of breaking the monotony of matching suits in the corporate world, when shopping, I consider colour themes for my dresses and accessories. I love mixing and matching colour. I believe colour boosts confidence in some way. If you feel good about the way you are dressed, you will walk with confidence.

What is your favourite fashion accessory?

Bags and earrings are my favourite fashion accessories. I always walk with a set of extra earrings just in case I should change or lose one.

What is your favourite clothing item on a guy?

A guy wearing a nice perfectly fitting suit will always catch my eye.

What’s your favourite scent?

I will wear "Aqua di Gioia – Giorgio Armani” any time any day.

Any fashion advice?

A girl should always aim to be classy and fabulous among other things!
