SEC ACADEMY and Sunrise FC picked easy identical 3-0 victories respectively over the weekend to continue dominating their respective pools in the second division championship.

Last year’s semi-finalists Sunrise beat Akagera in Pool A in Rwamagana, while SEC Academy collected three points without kicking a ball after their opponents; Pepiniere did not turn up for the game at Ferwafa ground.

As it stands in Pool A, Sunrise lead with 26 points, seven points ahead of second-placed Sorwathe, who won 3-2 against Vision Jeunesse, Rwamagana are third with 18 points, Isonga FC have 17 points in fourth place, while Vision Jeunesse come fifth with 16 points.

In Pool B, SEC Academy tops the group with 18 points, a point ahead of second and third-placed Etoile de l’Est and Inteforce respectively. Unity are fourth with 16 points, ASPOR  in fifth position 15, while last year’s league Peace Cup semi-finalists Bugesera FC are sixth with 12points.
