The Rwanda FA has announced that the 2023/24 Rwanda Women's Premier League season will kick off on October 7.

It will be an intriguing six months of top level women's football action as clubs vie for the ultimate trophy and also the chance to represent the country in the CAF Women's Champions League.

The Women's second division league will also begin on October 14 with clubs battling for promotion to the elite division.

Interested teams which meet FERWAFA requirements have until September 4 to have registered for both the women's topflight league as well as the second division league.

AS Kigali Women, who have won the Women Premier League title for a record 13 times, will be looking to defend the title they won last season.
