When did you join Comedy Knights, and are you a comedian?

I didn’t join Comedy Knights, I am a co-founder of the company. Actually I’m among the people who started it in 2010. We started it to develop a new kind of entertainment in Rwanda as we had experienced it from other countries we lived in and it was an exciting adventure because before that we were all actors mostly doing theater.

I was a comedian/actor before I focused on Production and I love comedy so much.

As manager/administrator of the Comedy Knights, what exactly do you do?

I am in charge of production and everything else that is not stage management. That includes making deals with sponsors and clients, drafting rules and regulations, and organising all our shows, of course with some help from the production team. Although we are a company we work more as a family. So sometimes we do help each other even in creating what is going on stage.

What should we expect from Comedy Knights in 2014?

We are planning to work hard and keep on growing so that we create more awareness of what we do to all Rwandans. We are also planning to move around schools in Rwanda and perform while searching for talent because everyone is welcome, especially girls.

We plan to travel as much as we can to acquire experience but also perform in other countries which we already started in Burundi, Germany, Belgium, and soon, Uganda.

We plan to partner more and more with companies in Rwanda in order to do big events.

Who would you rate the best comedian in Comedy Knights?

Well I don’t really have a favorite comedian because I love all the guys and I can’t compare them because they all have different styles and so much potential. But then I give so much respect to Atome as a pioneer in Rwanda and I love Pablo because I used to watch him in Uganda but there are many more comedians whom I appreciate.

They are all crazy and I love working with them because they have so much to offer to the world (Arthur, Mika, Babu, Herve, Bob, George, Cello, etc...). I treat them all in the same way because we are family.

What’s the most daring stunt you’ve ever pulled?

It’s starting Comedy Knights and acting almost naked in front of people!

What else keeps you busy?

Normally when I’m not in Comedy Knights I’m working with my father in some family businesses or creating future projects personal or for Comedy Knights.
