Kigali will host a gospel concert dubbed, "Women Destiny in 12 Prophetic Acts” featuring East Africa’s music divas.The concert is scheduled for January 12 at Kigali Serena Hotel.Diana Nkusi, the organiser of the event said she was inspired to organise the concert after realising the power of women in church.Tanzania’s Christina Shusho, Marion Shako and Mass choir from Kenya will be the main acts.Famous for mega gospel hits such as Wewe ni Mungu, Mimi ni Mali ya Bwana and Territory, Shusho is renowned not merely for the soul inspiring music she has churned out since the early 2000, but also for her abilities as a female gospel musician.The Tanzanian famed gospel singer, who was once a church cleaner, is now described by her fans as an exemplary icon of all ages in the gospel industry. She has grown to be a renowned global artiste in singing inspirational music.Award-winning Mombasa-based songstress Marion Shako is a worshiper and songwriter. Apart from being a celebrated gospel musician with many awards under her belt, Shako is described as a down-to-earth and God-fearing person who loves to socialise. The free concert will start at 3p.m.
