The national U-19 women cricket team, on Monday, made history as they stunned Tanzania by 6 wickets in the final to win the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Africa qualifier and book a ticket to the 2023 World Cup in South Africa.

Rwanda completed their fairy tale, as the young women’s side secured the final place at the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, by beating Tanzania by six wickets in Gaborone, Botswana on September 12.

The country completes an incredible journey of discovery, where cricket has become a vehicle of transformation and inspiration.
