THE launch of Kelele album by Urban Boys last Friday lived up to the bill as they also toasted to six successful years in the music industry. Petit Stade, Remera was the venue of the launch which attracted music enthusiasts from different parts of Kigali.

THE launch of Kelele album by Urban Boys last Friday lived up to the bill as they also toasted to six successful years in the music industry. Petit Stade, Remera was the venue of the launch which attracted music enthusiasts from different parts of Kigali. The show started at 7:36pm.  The emcees, Anita Pendo and Kate Gutave entertained the audience to humorous jokes to warm up the stage.TBB were among the first acts to take to the stage, performing their hit track, Vuza ingoma. Tusker Project Fame season four contestant Gilbert Gabiro was up next and wowed the audience with his, Amahirwe, single Urban Boys came on stage at 9pm with a dynamic performance of, Touch My Body. Soon after, the trio requested the audience to rise to their feet and have a moment of silence, as a tribute to the greatest Statesman and son of Africa, the late Nelson Mandela.The Pop/Afrobeat trio performed songs from, Kelele album while inviting featured acts on stage at intervals including Jay Polly and Uncle Austin. Some of the tracks the group performed include Kubita, Barahurura, Kelele, Ibitenge and Marry me.Urban Boys crowned their concert with energetic dance moves and kept the audience dancing and singing along. Other headliners such as Mico The Best, Bruce Melody, and Kid Gaju were not to be left behind as they came out to compliment the wonderful album launch of their fellow artistes.Of course, the fun did not stop there. At the same event, the trio of James Manzi, aka Humble Jizzo, Safi Niyibikora, aka Safi Lee and Muhammed Nshimiyimana, also known as Nizzo, celebrated the group’s 6th anniversary and served a cake to their fans."We have been working very hard for this and it is good that things are beginning to work out, we just need to work more and reach far,” said Humble Jizzo, the group’s frontman. The concert ended at 11:4 p.m.
