Good preachers or false prophets?

FROM THE book of Genesis to Revelation, almost the whole Bible warns about false workers.

Outwardly they serve God, but inwardly they serve mammon (the things of the world, for their belly) or they serve Satan.

However, they are planted by Satan in the field of God, the Church world. They are counterfeit and are false workers. Even though such caution is given to us throughout the Bible, the Christians are generally very silent about it.

The true servants of God are in the midst of them and are quiet too. This reminds us about tares and wheat story in the Bible (the parable of the weeds) in Matthew 13:24 -28: "The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blades were sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in the field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.”

If Satan has placed his people as ministers in the Church world, it is not a big surprise that these ministers will not caution about the false workers. Some of them caution about someone else in order to hide the fact that they themselves are false.

Most of these false preachers always have their teaching focus on man’s happiness and prosperity in this life. Sometimes prosperity preachers can be very subtle about this, but if you listen to them for a period of time you’ll find a lot of focus on money, comfort and happiness.

They will often make a lot of money from the Church by preaching this very message. The only time in scripture where Jesus got furious was when men used God’s temple to make money (Luke 19:45-46).

The immature believer will often find it hard to distinguish false teachers from others. This practice is blocking many people from repenting and coming or return to Christ.

In our country is not so rampant compared to Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa  USA among other countries and my prayer is that may God Almighty still keep such  false preachers out of our land.  "Does the Lord intend to make man happy? Sure... but it’s a byproduct, not a prime product.” - Paris Reidhead.

Brethren flee from a false gospel that puts the focus on what you can get from God in this life rather than what you can give to God. Remember that the entire reason for the existence of man, is not to get happy... it’s to glorify, serve, and love the Lord. The rest is added to us.
