THE Minister of Sports and Culture, Protais Mitali has challenged the Amavubi senior team to go for a win when they meet Eritrea in the final Group C match due to be played today in Nakuru.

Rwanda lost their two opening games against Uganda and Sudan 1-0 respectively and ahead of the clash with  Eritrea, Minister Mitali has called on Amavubi team players to sacrifice their efforts and ensure that Rwanda earns a quarter final slot.

Rwanda needs a win against Eritrea to reach the last eight as one of the two best losers.

He said, "They need to give all their best on the field. This can bring  the best results and I still believe that they can do that and they can make our country proud,”

"We know it will not be easy but they have to give their best and I believe they will make a difference against Eritrea,” he said.
