By 11 am, a number of employees and employers were seen storming the building, each happy to receive a free package of snacks, including apples, cupcakes, and yogurt, among others.

The breakfast was packaged in a box, which was easy for the Hotel’s staff who were dressed in black company T-shirts, to hand to the customers.

While handing them snacks, clients were eulogized for their continuous support of the Hotel for the last seven years of existence.

Desire Mutangana, the senior corporate sales manager, of Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre thanked clients for partnering with the Hotel and promised better services henceforth.

He requested the workers from different 10 companies including I&M Bank to accept the kind gesture, as a symbol of gratitude for their assistance to shove the hotel’s advancement, and efforts.

According to Mutangana, the small act of kindness is part of the Hotel’s values and standards.

"We usually thank our customers in diverse ways, for instance, bookers cocktail reception, which converges clients at our premises, among others like wines, and deliver snacks to their offices,” he stressed.

Mutangana also highlighted the Radisson rewards programme that awards customers with free hotel nights, room upgrades, airline miles and other benefits, and services.

"Dining and meeting customers is also aimed to brace our relationships, hear their feedback regarding our services, and in case of any future partnerships, we are a call away for ease access.”

Mutangana carried on that giving back to the community is part of hospitality, stressing that though it doesn’t equate to the business deals they are offered, it’s a reminder of not only taking from clients but also giving back in return, in any measure.

Iddy Rugamba, the company secretary & investor relations at I&M Bank commended the Hotel for their kindness and called upon companies to emulate such gesture because, without customers, a business can’t thrive.

"Everything we do revolves around customers. As we celebrate with our partners, we reveal what we have achieved. We anticipate boosting the tourism and hospitality sector through various community events, with different partners in this area.”

Altogether, 380 people received breakfast. This isn’t the first time that the Hotel shared breakfast with their cooperate customers. Last year, Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre served 350 clients at the Career Center building, 150 at PCD (the new BPR) building, and 350 from M&M Plaza, totaling 850.
